Prosterit is an oral drug containing active substance Finasteride which belongs to a class of medications called 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. This medication works by decreasing the amount of a natural body hormone (DHT) that causes growth of the prostate. Lately Prosterit have also been proven useful in easing of several androgenic side effects associated with the use of anabolic steroids.
The average dosage of Prosterit varies from 1 to 5 mg per day. In case of regular treatment the medication should be used for three months or more. If a dose of Propecia is missed, one should skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. It is not recommended to take 2 doses at once.
The main side effects associated with the use of Prosterit are: lump in the breast, nipple discharge, breast enlargement or pain, pain in the testicles, inability to urinate, as well as allergic reaction to this like rash, itching and swelling (especially of the face, tongue and throat), severe dizziness and trouble breathing.
